I endorse Gov. Phil Murphy for reelection to the governor’s office for the state of New Jersey.

As a life-long resident of New Jersey, I have seen politicians walk back their promises to our beautiful state. Gov. Murphy is a man I trust to keep his word. He puts the interests of the people first and he will continue to step up to make New Jersey a fairer place to call home. I commend the work he has done through his last term to ensure wealthy community members pay their due, and to respond swiftly to the threats of COVID-19. Murphy stands with workers, small businesses, and community leaders as we collectively navigate this difficult time in the Garden State.

I back Murphy because he is strong on issues that are central to me and my family; he cares about equity and justice in our communities, and has shown that he steps up to fight for our future generations. As a father, I want my daughter to grow up in a state where her rights are expected, where she has a liveable climate, and the best chance for her to succeed. We need a governor with his heart in the right place. It is more critical than ever before to elect leaders who will not back down or be bullied on life or death issues: COVID-19, climate change, clean energy, affordable housing, and criminal justice.
